We have written a few words about each, explaining what they are, and what type of site it is, to help you. We finished off the page with a few banner ads for you to see. The New 49'ers Prospecting Organization
is a business offering a unique adventure trip, recreational outings, and fun vacation opportunity to a broad range of the general public. Situated in a beautiful rural setting in far northern California on the banks of the Klamath River in the old gold mining town of Happy Camp they offer classes, and the right to prospect their gold-rich claims. They provide the opportunity for a family with little time to find their own gold. Their large, informational and interactive web site provides necessary information on all their services, the area where they are located and how to get there, and other related information. I did a complete overhaul on this site, giving it a fresh, new look in June, 2002. In 2003, due to cancer treatment, I relinquished site maintenance, and there have been some changes to the site, but the overall look remains similar. I created much of the work on this site since its inception in 1996.

Alaskan Art Prints by Vernon Cross
showcases art prints by the artist, with full ordering information for customers, to present the beautiful artwork of this Wasilla, Alaska artist to the public in a low-cost format that anyone can afford for their home. It has been effective for the artist. Because of illness that prevented me from maintaining it maintenance was given to someone else.

Marcie's Alaskaweb - A Personal Web Site
is my personal web site, and has grown to be quite extensive. I am presently transferring it all to a larger server and not all of it may be available yet. There are pages of many different looks and styles included on this site, and the pages on Alaska alone, have quite a variety of style to them, as they were created over a span of about a year or so. Going through some of this site will give you a better idea of who I am, and what I have done; it may also help you to define what it is that you want on your site. This is actually two sites in one. My husband's site, which he created himself (Jim Foley's Alaska), also resides here, and there are links included to his pages.

Choctaw
This is a complete section of my website that contains family Choctaw history, information about the Choctaw Nation of OK, and information pages for family members to use to learn about their heritage. This type of thing might give you ideas if you are interested in something for your family to learn about.

Digging Up Our Ancestors
This is a complete genealogy section following a number of family lines. It includes photo pages, current and historical pages where the information has been located. It contains direct lineage lines, and it contains additional information about historical family members as available. Each line is designed to reflect the family name or heritage, and there will be a number of ideas available for anyone looking for ideas for a family, or genealogical site.

Banner Ads
Banner Ads are being used very often in web design now, and I am including a few of the recent ones I have done for customers.

The normal size is not large, but can well be utilized. If you click on the image, it will take you to a page showing the full-size ads. They can accomplish almost anything you wish, and are a popular form of inexpensive advertising, banner exchange, and website promotion.
